When Google decided to start penalizing non-mobile-friendly websites, Mark Bolton of Bolton Construction & Service of WNC contacted us. They had an older website built in HTML that had reached the end of its shelf life.
We first made the site responsive (mobile-friendly) and added some search-engine friendly meta data, but Mark decided that the website needed to grow with the company.
So we converted the site to WordPress, creating a custom theme that updated the original design a bit. Now whenever Mark wants to tweak the content, he can do so simply by logging into the backend of his site without touching a bit of code. The site is also built on a secure, scalable framework that will allow them to make future cost-effective changes to the functionality and design of the site when it’s time to grow again.
At the same time, we migrated the company’s Raleigh website to WordPress and came up with a design that reflected what we did with the WNC site but didn’t copy it.
